The Emona Group of companies was established by Alfred (Fred) Breznik in 1979. We specialise in the marketing and sales of electronic and electrical test and measuring instrumentation, fault finding equipment, E/EPROM programmers, development and circuit simulation software, process control measuring instrumentation, power and electrical measuring instruments and technical education products. Since 1987, Emona Instruments has also been involved in R & D and manufacturing of a telecommunications training system for use in universities and other tertiary institutions. This product has been well received in both Australia and in export markets in Asia, USA and Europe. Since late 1994 we have also been involved in the design and manufacture of handheld digital instruments. This design and manufacture capability gives Emona a higher level of technical experience and skill than is normally found in distributor only organisations. |

All product servicing and warranty is undertaken in-house by Emona service technicians at our Parramatta Road address.

What We Do:
Research & Design:
Since 1987 Emona has released and further developed TIMS, a university
training system for modelling from the most basic to the the latest
telecommunications theories such as trellis code modulation and spread spectrum
modulation. Other projects have included techniques for the display of
analog/digital measurements in handheld instruments, circuitry for measuring
automotive HT and fuel injection timing, and an Australian made and manufactured
RCD Tester.
Manufacturing:
More than just offering a range of imported products, Emona actively
and continually manufactures equipment in Australia. This includes the ET-903
Analog Digital Trainer, the TIMS telecommunications training system, the
EM-606 Analog/Digital Engine Analyser and EMT-901 RCD Tester.
Imports:
With over 28 years experience in importing instruments and equipment from
around the world, we work hard to expedite imports of stock and specialised
indent-only items by the fastest and most economical means possible.
Exports:
For over 15 years Emona has been exporting the TIMS telecommunications trainer
to universities and colleges around the world. Used in tertiary level teaching
and research, the TIMS system is the most flexible and up-to-date communications
modelling system available.
Distribution:
Emona offices co-ordinate closely with out network of distributors to
make purchasing from a local distributor or agent easy. From Cairns to Kalgoorlie

Emona Instruments has always respected the information you supply us about you and your organisation.
We collect your or your organisation's details when the information is supplied by you in an incoming telephone call, fax message, email message, written communication or an on-site visit by an Emona Instruments representative. Where practical we would seek your consent that this information may be used for direct marketing purposes. We make every effort in our direct marketing communications to provide you with our company's business address, telephone number, fax number, email address and web site address at which we can be contacted and accept a request by you not to receive our direct marketing communications. We take very seriously an individual's or organisation's request not to receive direct marketing communications and delete or flag the information accordingly.
We do not collect for or sell or trade your name and details to any third parties. Occasionally we hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, particularly mail fulfilment services. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
We do not collect your details when you use our Internet site except where expressly and clearly indicated, i.e. Emona Quick Email Register and Emona e-News Email Updates. Although 'cookies' and/or similar technology is built into our systems we do not use this technology to collect personal details, however we do keep unidentified statistics on how many visitors read specific pages and details on times and dates of visits and time taken to view pages.
Access to your details. You may ask to see the details we hold about you or your organisation but we require twenty-four hours notice. You will be required to identify yourself with acceptable I.D. and may take away a photocopy or printout of your information without charge during normal office hours or we can email you. We will not send information to generic email addresses like admin@, contact@ etc, you must have a personal email address. Under the Privacy Act we are within our rights to refuse to supply information if it is sought in a vexatious manner or is a matter that may be subject to legal jurisdiction or information that is exchanged or collected during the normal activities of business to business transactions.
